✨ What is PPSU?

Why we choose PPSU
for our feeders

PPSU is a heat-resistant, medical-grade plastic — the same family used for instruments that are sterilised over and over. For a feeding bottle that matters more than it sounds: a bottle is boiled, scrubbed and refilled several times a day, every day, for months on end.

• Heat resistant. Boiling water, steam sterilisers and bottle warmers are all fine. Ordinary plastic slowly clouds, scratches and turns brittle; PPSU comes out looking the way it went in.
• Nothing lingers in it. BPA-free, and it does not hold the smell or the stain of yesterday's feed the way cheaper plastic does.
• Glass safety without glass weight. A baby can hold it themselves, and when it hits the floor — and it will — nothing shatters.
• It is simply a better material. Tougher than the PP most bottles are made of, far lighter than glass, and it keeps its clarity for the whole life of the bottle. It costs more to mould, and it is worth it.
